The APS Steam Sterilizer Horizontal Cylindrical is a heavy-duty horizontal steam sterilization system designed for bulk sterilization applications in hospitals, laboratories and other institutional facilities. It is available in multiple chamber capacities from 75 litres to 350 litres, with heater loads ranging from 6 kW to 18 kW.
The sterilizer incorporates a chamber condensate line with steam trap, SS bottom plate, validation port, water-level gauge and replaceable heaters. The standard operating configuration uses steam pressure of 1.2 kg/cm² (15–18 psi) at 121°C, with an operating pressure range of 10–20 psi.
Standard models can also be configured with PID-based or PLC-based fully automatic control systems, including touchscreen HMI, data logging, validation programs, digital pressure monitoring and automatic water feeding options.

Chamber Condensate Management
The chamber condensate line is incorporated with a steam trap to support effective condensate removal and temperature control during the sterilization process.
A plug screen is also provided to help prevent choking of the line due to sediment discharge.
The chamber incorporates an SS bottom plate so that the sterilization load does not come directly into contact with condensate.
Validation Port
A dedicated validation port is provided for sterilization validation activities and related testing procedures.
The exact validation instruments, ports, accessories and validation protocol should be confirmed according to the selected model and installation configuration.
Water Level & Heating System
The autoclave is equipped with a water-level indicator glass gauge for monitoring water level in the steam generation system.
The heaters are designed to be easily replaceable, supporting maintenance of the heating system.
The supplied specification states that the chamber and jacket are constructed from 14 SWG material.
