Product Description
The Bi-Directional Digital Turbine for Medicaid Spiro Excel & Spiromax PFT Machines is a precision flow-sensing component designed specifically for compatible Medicaid pulmonary function testing (PFT) and spirometry systems.
This Medicaid PFT machine turbine measures airflow in both inhalation and exhalation directions. As the patient breathes through the turbine, the internal rotor blades rotate according to the airflow. An optoelectronic/infrared sensing system detects the blade rotation and converts it into digital flow information for the connected PFT system.
The Spiroexcel turbine and Spiromax turbine are designed for accurate and reliable flow measurement used in pulmonary function tests such as FVC (Forced Vital Capacity), SVC (Slow Vital Capacity), and MVV (Maximum Voluntary Ventilation).
Its low-resistance design helps minimize the effect of the flow sensor on patient breathing, while the reusable construction supports repeated use when appropriate cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed.
