Product Description

The Contec CMS 70A Tabletop Pulse Oximeter, also known as the Contec CMS70A, is a compact tabletop monitoring device designed for continuous, non-invasive measurement of blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), pulse rate (PR), and perfusion index (PI). It uses an external SpO₂ probe and provides real-time numerical readings along with pulse waveform and bar-graph displays.

The Contec Tabletop Pulse Oximeter features a 2.4-inch TFT color screen with a 320 × 240 resolution, adjustable alarm limits, pulse-rate sound indication, battery status monitoring, data storage, and computer data transmission. Its combination of AC mains and rechargeable battery operation makes the CMS 70A Oximeter suitable for hospitals, clinics, emergency care areas, community healthcare settings, and other patient-monitoring environments.

The device is designed for convenient tabletop use while remaining relatively compact and portable. It can display SpO₂, pulse rate, PI, and pulse waveform information in real time, helping healthcare professionals monitor changes during routine clinical observation.

Key Features

  • Multi-Parameter Monitoring: Measures SpO₂, pulse rate, and perfusion index (PI).

  • SpO₂ Measurement: Measurement range of 0%–100% with 1% resolution.

  • Pulse Rate Measurement: Measures pulse rate from 30–250 bpm with 1 bpm resolution.

  • Perfusion Index Display: Displays PI from 0%–20% with 0.1% resolution.

  • 2.4-Inch TFT Color Display: Provides clear numerical readings, pulse waveform, and bar-graph information.

  • Real-Time Pulse Waveform: Displays the pulse waveform for continuous visual monitoring.

  • Adjustable Alarms: High and low alarm limits can be configured for SpO₂ and pulse rate.

  • Audible Pulse Indication: Pulse-rate sound indication can be switched on or off.

  • Data Storage: Supports storage of measured patient data for later review.

  • Computer Data Transfer: Stored and real-time measurement data can be transmitted to a computer through the data connection.

  • Battery & Low-Voltage Indication: Displays battery capacity and provides a low-voltage warning.

  • Dual Power Operation: Can operate using AC mains power or its internal rechargeable lithium battery.

  • Weak Perfusion Performance: The device can display SpO₂ and pulse-rate values under specified weak pulse-filling conditions.

  • Adjustable Display Settings: Screen brightness and display mode can be adjusted.

  • External SpO₂ Probe: Uses a connected external oximeter probe for patient measurement.

  • Compact Tabletop Design: Approximate weight of 1 kg including the battery.
