The Fujifilm FDR Smart F is a space-saving, floor-mounted digital radiography (DR) X-ray system designed for general clinical and emergency imaging environments. It features Fujifilm's proprietary Irradiated Side Sampling (ISS) Technology, developed to support high-resolution digital X-ray imaging.
Unlike conventional detector designs that position TFT electronics behind the scintillation layer, ISS Technology places the Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) electronics in front of the scintillation layer. This detector architecture reduces light scatter and signal attenuation, helping preserve image sharpness and contrast.
The FDR Smart F uses a Cesium Iodide (CsI) flat panel detector with ISS Technology and Dynamic Visualization image processing. Its floor-mounted tube stand and configurable patient table support different clinical room layouts.
The system offers a choice of a 4-way floating table measuring 2200 × 750 mm or a 6-way elevating table measuring 2200 × 810 mm. Both configurations are specified to support a maximum patient weight of 300 kg (660 lbs). The upright wall stand provides a vertical travel range of 420–2060 mm, with optional manual tilt.
