The Medinain Dual Arm Medical Pendant is designed to provide flexible positioning of medical equipment, gas terminals, electrical connections, networking, and instrument storage around critical-care or clinical work areas. Its dual-arm configuration offers a 1000 mm horizontal arm radius, 340° horizontal rotation, and a motorized vertical lift range of 250–600 mm.

The system combines high-strength aluminium alloy construction with adjustable instrument platforms, integrated gas terminals, electrical outlets, network connectivity, drawer storage, and dedicated syringe and infusion pump racks.

Flexible Arm Positioning

The horizontal arms provide a 1000 mm activity radius, allowing equipment and accessories to be positioned according to the clinical workflow.

Each horizontal arm can rotate through 340°, while the horizontal arm and functional box can be rotated simultaneously.

Motorized Vertical Adjustment

The functional box provides a vertical lift stroke of 250–600 mm and is powered by a 100W motor.

This allows the pendant configuration to be adjusted vertically for different working requirements.

Isolation Brake System

The rotary joint incorporates an oxygen balloon expandable isolation brake mechanism.

The supplied operating principle is straightforward:

• Press and hold the brake button to rotate/position the device.
• Release the brake button to secure the device.
• The system is designed to prevent unwanted drift after positioning.

Medical Gas Terminals

The standard configuration includes:

• 2 × Oxygen terminals
• 2 × Suction terminals

The gas terminal design includes different available colors and shapes and is specified for more than 20,000 mating cycles.

The supplied specification also describes a secondary seal with three states:

• ON
• OFF
• PULL

The terminal design can also support air service.

Adjustable Instrument Platforms

The Dual Arm includes two instrument platform levels with height adjustment.

Each platform features a rounded bumper design and has a specified load capacity of 20 kg.
