The POCT 1 SEC Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer is designed for rapid temperature measurement without requiring the thermometer to touch the patient's skin.

It uses an infrared sensor to detect heat emitted from the forehead. With a typical measurement distance of approximately 3–5 cm, users can obtain a temperature reading in around one second.
